Mychael and I felt that this film required an elegant and broad score to accompany the Byzantine mind of Ted Crawford, as played by Anthony Hopkins. The score echoes the twists in Ted’s dark plan from the opening shots of the sleek, polished lines of the rube to the film’s stunning denouement.
